Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll ever make—and electrical issues can be costly if they’re discovered after settlement.
Our pre-purchase electrical inspections are designed to identify visible defects, safety concerns, and compliance issues in the property’s electrical system—helping you make a more informed decision before you commit.
Inspections are carried out using non-invasive methods. We assess all safely accessible and visible components, which may include removing switch plates or switchboard covers where appropriate. As every property differs in size, layout, and complexity, the scope of each inspection can vary significantly.
For this reason, pricing is provided on application.
We offer two levels of service:
Basic Electrical Inspection – A professional overview of the property’s accessible electrical components and general condition.
Comprehensive Electrical Inspection – A more detailed assessment, providing greater insight and peace of mind.
A professional inspection can be the difference between moving into your new home with confidence—or facing unexpected electrical issues after handover.

Pre Purchase Electrical Inspections Disclaimer
The inspection and any associated testing are limited to a non-destructive, visual and functional assessment of the electrical installation as it exists at the time of inspection. The scope of this inspection is restricted to areas and components that are safely accessible without the removal of building finishes, fixtures, fittings, or the use of invasive techniques. Electrical wiring, connections, and equipment concealed within walls, ceilings, floors, insulation, or other inaccessible areas are excluded from inspection and testing.
Accordingly, no representation or warranty is made as to the condition, compliance, or suitability of any concealed or inaccessible electrical components. While reasonable care and skill have been exercised in conducting this inspection, it does not constitute a comprehensive certification of compliance with all applicable standards, including but not limited to AS/NZS 3000, nor does it guarantee the absence of defects, faults, or future failures.
This report is provided for general information purposes only and reflects the observable condition of the installation at the time of inspection. The inspector shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, cost, or consequential impact arising from defects, deficiencies, or non-compliances that were not reasonably detectable within the limitations of a non-invasive inspection.
